Since I'm not finding the time to blog myself these days, I thought I would share one of my favorite blogs of all time, Debbie Reese's American Indian in Children's Literature blog, which has loads of thoughtful posts about American Indians in Children's Literature along with great analysis of mascot debates, terminology matters, and other issues of importance to educators, Native communities, and the general public. She seems to know everything about what's happening now in children's publishing, education, and Indian Country. If you haven't checked out her blog before, do it now! It's relevant for everyone.
AuthorMandy blogs, very sporadically, about Native lit, children's/YA lit, teaching, writing, reading, and life. Archives
